Eligibility and Funding

Eligibility

To be eligible for NDIS support care, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa
• Be under the age of 65
• Have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to complete everyday tasks and activities
• Meet the NDIS disability requirements

Funding

Once you have been deemed eligible for NDIS support care, you may be able to access funding for a range of support services. The amount of funding you receive will depend on your individual needs and circumstances, as determined by the NDIS.
